🏫 Polish Preschool in Lyon (EMPL) – Learning Polish from an Early Age
The Polish Preschool in Lyon (EMPL) is dedicated to promoting the Polish language and culture among children living in Lyon and the surrounding area.
Our preschool is especially designed for families who wish to introduce their children to Polish from an early age, while helping them connect with their Polish roots and heritage.
Through a variety of age-appropriate activities — including games, songs, storytelling, creative arts, physical activities, and cultural workshops — children learn Polish in a natural and playful way, within a caring and supportive environment.
🏫 A Polish Preschool in Lyon
EMPL is a non-profit association (under French law 1901) and is part of a network of institutions dedicated to promoting the Polish language and culture worldwide. The preschool operates on a self-funded model, with resources coming mainly from registration fees, as well as occasional grants from the Polish government or organizations supporting Polish language and culture.
📝 Registration at the Polish Preschool
Enrollment is open to children aged 2.5 to 6 years. Children aged 2 years may also be admitted under certain conditions: independent in basic self-care (toilet trained), sufficient language skills, available space in the class
This preschool allows children to discover the Polish language while developing their cultural and linguistic curiosity in a supportive environment.
